OFFERING PRACTICAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT,
to all seafarers regardless of nationality and religious belief, The Mission to Seafarers aims to provide as much help as possible to international seafarers through their representation at over 200 seaports across 50 different countries.
THE SAINT JOHN SEAFARERS’ MISSION
supports the seafaring community aboard ships visiting the Port of Saint John. Port Saint John participates in charitable giving in both time and resources for the local Mission. Members of our organization also volunteer on the Board of Directors.
Being a seafarer can be difficult due to the long periods away from home and family, as well as the isolation from onshore amenities. At the Saint John Seafarers’ Mission, mariners can relax away from their ships and access local stores or Wi-Fi to chat with family and friends.
