ACCESSIBILITY PLAN AND FEEDBACK PROCESS 2024-2027

A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO

At the Saint John Port Authority, accessibility is more than a regulatory requirement—it’s a reflection of who we are and what we stand for. Integrity, one of our core values, means we honor our commitments and build trust through transparency and respect in every interaction. Inclusion is equally central to our mission, as we strive to engage our community, build lasting relationships, and ensure a diverse and dedicated team ready to meet any challenge.

This Accessibility Plan represents our unwavering commitment to creating a port that serves everyone equitably. We are dedicated to continuously improving and collaborating with partners to uphold these values, ensuring the Saint John Port Authority remains a welcoming and accessible space for all.

A LIVING DOCUMENT

It is important to note that this plan is a living document for SJPA. Each year, the document will be revisited and timelines adjusted to show the progress.

This document and the actions enclosed will be led by an internal steering committee that will champion the plan at SJPA. The committee will be comprised of Management representation, and employee and union representation. All members are committed to integrating inclusion into all planning and activities at SJPA.
