New Brunswick Tidal Power Summit to Take Place at Port Saint John

SAINT JOHN (NB) – The New Brunswick Tidal Power Summit, an event being held in partnership with Opportunities NB, will take place on Monday, June 27th from 9:30 am – 4 pm at the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Terminal (333 Water Street, Saint John, NB).Representatives from Marine Renewables Canada, the Fundy Ocean Research Center for Energy (FORCE), Port Saint John, and berth holders from Parrsboro (Nova Scotia) will be on hand to educate and engage local supply chain companies about tidal power project opportunities for the Bay of Fundy.“Port Saint John and its industry stakeholders already have the location, experience, capabilities, and infrastructure in place to handle both the existing FORCE project test site as well as larger scale tidal projects that would be located in the Bay of Fundy.
