Port Saint John welcomes the HMCS Oriole tall ship for New Brunswick Day
Saint John, N.B. - The HMCS Oriole, the Canadian Navy’s sail training vessel, will be docking at the Port Saint John Pugsley Slip at the bottom of Princess Street this New Brunswick Day. The ship is arriving at 10:00 am on August 2nd and departing at 10:00 am on August 4th. The public can view the ship up close from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm on August 2 and again 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on August 3. The public will not be permitted onboard the vessel due to COVID protocols, but they can access the floating dock to view the vessel and speak with the crew.
HMCS Oriole is a sailing ketch and currently is both the oldest commissioned vessel in the Royal Canadian Navy and is also the longest-serving commissioned ship.
