Lisa Keenan Elected Chair of the Board for Port Saint John

At a recent meeting of the Board of Directors for Port Saint John (Saint John Port Authority), Lisa Keenan was elected to the position of Chair of the Board by her peers.  The term of Chair of the Board is two years with eligibility for re-election. Lisa Keenan has been a member of the Board of Directors at Port Saint John since 2015.Lisa Keenan joins Donna Gates who has been Vice-Chair of the Board since February 2018.  Keenan’s election makes Port Saint John one of few Canada Port Authorities with an all-female board leadership team.Ms. Keenan has been practicing law in Saint John for more than 20 years, working primarily on criminal, administrative, family and real estate law. Ms. Keenan has served on several boards, including as past president and director of Saint John Non-Profit Housing Inc., president of the New Brunswick Red Cross, and member of the board of governors of the Canadian Red Cross.  Ms. Keenan is a recipient of the E. Neil McKelvey. Q.C Pro Bono and Volunteer Service Award from the Canadian Bar Association.
