Advisory: Long Wharf Slip Pile Driving

Pile driving will begin the week of September 29th, 2021 in Long Wharf Slip and continue until the end of March 2022.

The piles will support construction of a breakwater. Pile driving will take place intermittently over the next 6 months. When pile driving is occurring, it will take place seven days a week between the hours of 7 A.M. and 9 P.M.Once complete, the new breakwater will become part of a small craft facility being established in this location to ensure safe operations for small commercial work boats and resident fishing vessels who currently utilize this area.
