Port Days 2022 will highlight growth and supply chain resiliency, cruise development and the energy transition

Saint John (NB) –Port Days, a maritime and transportation industry conference with more than 60 years of history, is being held on June 13th-14th. With success using a virtual model in 2021, much of the conference will continue to be offered virtually with a few in-person opportunities such as a logistics bus tour and closing reception.

Port Days has long been a part of the local Port identity and a ritual for many stakeholders and partners. The Port and its partners have been on journey of growth, with a strong focus on building supply chain resiliency through collaboration with partners, exploring the opportunities presented by the energy transition and celebrating the return of the cruise industry. These themes will all be explored in 6 separate virtual sessions during the conference.

In addition to the sessions, the headline session will be a virtual Dockside Discussion with Honourable Frank McKenna, Maksim Mihic (DP World Canada CEO), and Jonathan Wahba (CP’s VP Commercial Integration) on Tuesday June 14th at 11:00am ADT.  A sold-out logistics bus tour will bring more than 50 delegates through the West Side Modernization site in DP World’s multipurpose cargo terminal and to the Irving Logistics Park.  Finally, during the closing reception, the recipient of the inaugural Port Days Sustainability Award will be announced and the Port will honour 10 years of partnership with MSC.
